The Commercial team has been established to deepen our reach into the visitor market and to help convert visitor interest into guest experiences that include VIP tours of our animals, luxury accommodation, corporate away-days, heritage engagement and so much more.
Reporting to the Commercial Business Development Manager, your role will involve a proactive approach to guest enquiries that will see maximum conversion into engagements with Longleat.
Key duties will include:
1. Maximize opportunities to increase sales by understanding the features, benefits, unique selling points and other relevant information of our product and services.
2. Manage incoming enquiries, updating existing bookings, and secure business in line with agreed strategies, booking policies and procedures.
3. Responsible for contacting potential and existing customers to optimize commercial opportunity.
4. Keep up to date on products, services, pricing, and special promotional offers.
5. Maintaining high standard of communication with guests including understanding and resolving guest complaints and enquiries and ensuring confirmation of bookings.
6. Co-ordinating the booking journey from enquiry to sale.
7. Working with our booking systems along with a guest focused service at all times ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the brand.
About you
8. GCSE English and Maths to grade minimum C. (Essential)
9. Experience of working to revenue targets
10. Experience in delivering and exceeding sales targets.
11. Outbound sales experience.
12. Experience of working with service level agreements
13. Experience of providing administrative support within a professional organisation dealing with internal and external clients
14. Experience of working in a busy office environment and managing time effectively.
15. Knowledge of bookings systems but full training will be given
16. Excellent MS Office skills, including Excel.

Your contract
You will be on a permanent 40 hour contract.
You will be working 5 days out of 7 with working hours to vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.
