This is a full-time, permanent role starting January, teaching Key Stages 3–4, including GCSE Geography (and potentially extension beyond). About the Role You will lead engaging and rigorous Geography lessons across multiple year groups, helping students build knowledge, spatial reasoning, and critical thinking about global and local issues. The department is supported by strong subject leadership and access to GIS software, interactive maps, fieldwork equipment, and digital resources for data analysis. You may also design or lead fieldwork trips and local place-based projects to deepen learning. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: • Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification • Has solid subject knowledge in Geography and a passion for physical and human geography • Can teach GCSE Geography (or is willing to develop further at KS4) • Is creative, organised, reflective, with high expectations for student progress • Has the legal right to work in the UK The School Situated in Nottingham, this academy currently educates around 820 pupils aged 11–16.
