Overview
In your role as a Night Care Assistant at HC-One, you will value kindness above all. Our residents are people with their own stories, and we aim to provide the highest quality service at all times. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at Brinnington Hall. You will take responsibility for the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents, assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals, while ensuring residents maintain dignity and individuality. You may support residents with limited mobility to use aids, provide emotional support to confused or distressed residents, and deliver care at the end of life, always keeping wellbeing at the forefront.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
