Our client, a leading Trade Association based in Southwark, Central London, is seeking a Head of Membership Engagement to join their team.

The Role of Head of Membership Engagement
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for membership engagement, recruitment, and retention to ensure the organization continues to:
* Deliver excellent support to members
* Retain current members
* Recruit new members
Duties and Responsibilities
* Review and enhance current membership engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies.
* Build strong relationships with members at a senior level.
* Identify prospective companies for membership.
* Develop and execute a membership growth strategy targeting the UK market.
* Engage with existing and potential members at CEO/exec level.
* Communicate membership benefits effectively.
* Manage membership applications and renewals in collaboration with the Finance Director.
* Organize and manage member meetings, including minute-taking and action tracking.
* Promote member activities through the website, communications, and resources.
* Design and implement an annual Membership Survey to gauge satisfaction and areas for improvement.
Person Specification – Knowledge and Experience
* Significant experience in growing membership and leading membership services in similar organizations.
* Experience in developing administrative processes.
* Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills at senior levels.
* Experience managing CRM databases.
* Ability to network and collaborate across the organization.
* Willingness to travel across England and Wales for events and meetings.
