Job Description
Your role:As a Shopping Writer for Times LUXX, you will shape the voice of luxury eCommerce by producing and commissioning engaging, high-quality digital content. This exciting opportunity allows you to drive both traffic and revenue while collaborating across the business to align editorial vision with commercial strategy.
Day to day you will:
1. Write compelling copy for all eCommerce content, tenancy, and partnership campaigns across Times Luxury.
2. Create trending content aligned with search engine optimization (SEO) trends and high-converting luxury market insights.
3. Research, draft, and proofread high-quality digital commerce content that consistently matches the unique Times Luxury tone of voice.
4. Develop strategic content plans for evergreen luxury themes, utilizing data insights to refresh existing material and introduce fresh ideas.
5. Commission, update, and craft product reviews based closely on targeted audience insights and performance guidelines.
6. Support the partnerships team with targeted, vertical-specific editorial tasks to deliver impactful campaigns.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders, including product, legal, and editorial teams, to ensure all commercial requirements are met.
What we're looking for from you:
8. Exceptional writing skills paired with strong attention to detail to ensure editorial precision.
9. Professional background in digital publishing, specifically writing for digital magazines or news websites.
10. Comprehensive understanding of the luxury industry and the current trends shaping retail and commerce.
11. Proficient understanding of audience data, SEO techniques, and search trends to maximize visibility.
12. Practical knowledge of affiliate platforms and modern digital content monetization methods.
13. Familiarity with the IPSO Code of Conduct, media law, and ethical considerations in journalism.
14. Strong collaboration and communication abilities to successfully work with various internal business stakeholders.
15. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
