Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics & Recovery

Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours
Shift Days; Monday to Saturday.
Shift Patterns: 07.30- 18:00; 10:00-20:00; 12:00-21:00.
Salary range Up to £35,000 dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement
We’re looking for a Theatre practitioner to join our Theatre department at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice
2. Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care
3. The role will work across all disciplines, including Anaesthetics and Recovery so you'll have a chance to grow your skillset.
4. Prepare patients and provide skilled assistance to the anaesthetist and skilled nursing care to patients in Recovery
5. Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives
Skills & Experience
6. Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
7. Post graduate experience in Theatres
8. Current HCPC/NMC Registration
9. Anaesthetics experience
10. Completion of post graduate Anaesthetics course for Nurses is essential
