Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is working with primary schools in the Bridgwater area to recruit a Reception / KS1 Teacher for a rewarding teaching opportunity. This role is ideal for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about early learning and creating positive first experiences of school.
You will be working with children in Reception and Key Stage 1, supporting their academic, social and emotional development through engaging, child-centred learning. The role offers the opportunity to work in supportive school environments with a strong focus on high-quality early years and KS1 provision.
The role will involve:
Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons across Reception and KS1
Supporting pupils’ early literacy, numeracy and personal development
Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Working closely with teaching assistants, parents and wider staff teams
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children’s wellbeing
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
Have experience or a strong interest in Early Years and KS1 teaching
Be enthusiastic, caring and committed to high-quality teaching and learning
Have strong classroom management and communication skills
Be confident supporting children at different stages of early development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
