About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Employment Relations Advisor to provide expert guidance and support on all aspects of employment relations. In this role, you’ll be the go-to resource for managers, offering advice that balances employment law, internal policies, commercial considerations, and risk. You’ll play a key role in managing cases from start to finish, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert ER advice via phone and email, escalating complex cases to the People Partner as needed.
* Support managers administratively with hearings, meeting packs, outcome letters, and policy guidance.
* Manage and resolve ER cases efficiently, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
* Maintain accurate records in the Case Management System and ensure policies are up to date.
* Track and report on employee absences, holding managers accountable.
* Source and coordinate appropriate HR support for complex cases.
* Serve as a one-stop solution for key stakeholders, offering guidance and direction on ER matters.
* Stay up to date with employment law and best practices, ensuring advice and policies reflect changes.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role with ER casework responsibility.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and policy implementation.
* Ability to assess ER cases quickly, identify risk, and provide clear guidance.
* Excellent communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
* Associate-level CIPD or equivalent ER experience desirable.
* Experience influencing stakeholders to achieve timely, fair outcomes.
