Job Description

Our fantastic client, based in Derby, are looking for an Account Manager to join their team due to expansion. You will be the first point of contact for key accounts, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. They are looking for someone proactive and customer- focused, who can nurture relationships as well as identify upselling opportunities.

Candidates must have B2B experience in a SaaS environment.

Salary up to £45,000 salary depending on experience.
Permanent role.
Hybrid working.
Monday to Friday.
27 days holiday + bank holidays.
Company car scheme.

Account Manager - The Role:
1. Be the main contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
2. Respond to customer queries and provide technical or functional support in a timely, effective manner
3. Support onboarding for new customers, guiding them through initial setup, training, and adoption
4. Deliver engaging demos to prospect, new and existing clients
5. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional features to drive value for customers
6. Collaborate with the product and support teams to address client feedback, troubleshoot issues, and improve service
7. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, feedback, and opportunities using our CRM system
8. Monitor usage and engagement to ensure customers are getting the most from their investment
Account Manager - The Candidate:
9. Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a related role in a SaaS B2B environment.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
11. Comfortable delivering live demos and product presentations
12. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
13. Experience supporting onboarding and training processes for new clients
14. Confident using CRM systems Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
15. Experience managing B2B client accounts in a SaaS environment is desirable as well as familiarity with client segmentation, customer lifecycle management, and retention strategies.
