About the role As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will gain hands-on classroom experience, delivering pre-set lessons and supporting pupils in the absence of the class teacher. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising whole classes during short-term teacher absences Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Supporting students to stay on task and engaged with learning Gaining valuable experience in secondary school environments This role is ideal for education graduates, sports science graduates, or those with transferable experience working with young people. Requirements To be considered for the role of Graduate cover supervisor- Training provided you will: Hold a UK degree (any subject considered) Have a strong interest in education or teaching Be confident leading a classroom of secondary-aged pupils Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills Have (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
