The Role We're looking for an Assistant Estates & Facilities Support to join our Estates team and help ensure our healthcare clinics remain safe, compliant, and inspection ready.This is a hands-on role supporting estates compliance, facilities inspections, contractor coordination, and accurate record keeping across a national portfolio of clinics. You'll carry out site visits, complete routine checks, support audits, and work closely with the Estates Manager, contractors, and clinical teams. If you're practical, organised, comfortable travelling, and interested in estates, facilities, or compliance within a regulated healthcare environment, this role offers strong exposure and development. What You'll Be Doing Carrying out routine site inspections and compliance walkarounds Completing and updating estates logs (fire safety, environmental checks, basic hazards) Supporting infection prevention and control estates tasks (e.g. placement of wipes, sharps bins, sanitiser) Logging and escalating minor maintenance issues Assisting with contractor visits and site access Supporting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tracking and evidence collection Uploading inspection photos, certificates, and documentation to estates systems Completing routine temperature monitoring (rooms, fridges, water outlets where required) Supporting audit preparation and CQC readiness Helping maintain asset registers and estates records What We're Looking For Willingness to travel nationally, sometimes at short notice (full UK driving licence required) A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Confident communication skills and a professional manner on site Comfort working independently as well as part of a wider team Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths Desirable Experience in estates, facilities, maintenance, or healthcare environments Experience completing inspections, audits, or routine checks Awareness of estates compliance areas (e.g. fire safety, Legionella, PPM) Experience working across multiple sites or in a travel-based role Interest in developing a career in estates, facilities, or health & safety Why Join Us Exposure to estates and compliance within a regulated healthcare environment Variety - no two days or sites are the same Clear development pathway within Estates & Facilities Supportive team and structured onboarding
