We are recruiting for an Information and Records Manager to join the Knowledge and Information Management Team in the Corporate Governance deputy directorate on a permanent basis.
This role will manage the information structure within NHSR by providing advice, support and training as required. The incumbent will manage information management frameworks, update them as necessary, and ensure staff can retain and locate the information they need so NHSR meets its obligations as a public organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead on managing and consolidating information stores mainly within SharePoint/O365, enabling staff to find the information they need and ensuring NHSR meets its obligations as a public organisation.
* Enable good information management, show best practice, manage the information champions network, produce reports, keep abreast legislative changes, and amend practices.
* Manage information management processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and accountability, while empowering users by facilitating a self‑service culture.
* Derive maximum value from knowledge and information management, collaborate, encourage sharing, and communicate effectively across NHSR and with other stakeholders.
* Line‑manage a KIM Officer, ensuring all elements of records retention and information management are followed.
