Our client, an award-winning B2B events company, is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Content to lead the programming and delivery of a major new International event in an exciting sector.
This is a high-impact role for someone who’s confident shaping content strategy from the ground up—curating full-scale conferences, managing speaker relationships, and delivering best-in-class on-site experiences. You’ll oversee multiple content streams, including third-party conferences, show floor theatres, and a standalone flagship conference.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and creative environment, working closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and ops to ensure content is not only engaging and well-delivered, but commercially aligned and audience-driven.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the content strategy across all live event formats
* Developing themes, building agendas, and sourcing high-quality speakers
* Owning speaker outreach, onboarding, and on-site delivery
* Conducting deep market research to stay ahead of trends and audience needs
* Managing content timelines, internal documentation, and website updates
* Collaborating with commercial teams to support sponsorship and marketing goals
* Overseeing on-site delivery and ensuring content is executed to a high standard
* Supporting the Content Director and contributing to wider team growth
What they’re looking for:
* 5+ years’ experience in the events industry, ideally in large-scale B2B
* Strong editorial instincts and confidence curating content across multiple formats
* Comfortable managing senior stakeholders and high-profile speakers
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Collaborative and solutions-focused, with a proactive mindset
* Experience managing a small team or freelancers preferred
* An interest in health, wellbeing or active lifestyle sectors is a plus
