Proud holders of 1 AA Rosette (awarded by The AA ), were looking for a chef who can help take us to the next level while keeping the warm, personal feel that makes our business special.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who thrives on developing people, driving standards, and shaping the future of a growing food business.
Salary & Package £42,000 base salary
£8,000£10,000 annual tronc
Paid every 2 weeks
48-hour contract

As Head Chef, youll lead:

The Role More Than Just Running Service This is a leadership position with real influence across the business. Youll work closely with the Food Development Lead, OPs Managers and General Manager to create a kitchen that delivers outstanding food and a positive working culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
Kitchen Leadership Leading day-to-day kitchen operations and service
Setting and maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
Creating a positive, professional, and motivated kitchen culture
Team Management Writing rotas and managing kitchen labour effectively
Recruiting, training, and developing your team
Building a strong, stable brigade with clear progression
Business & Financial Responsibility Managing food GP and maintaining strong margins
Controlling kitchen labour costs
Working to financial targets and ensuring kitchen sustainability
Wider Business Involvement Creating a cohesive working relationship between kitchen, front of house, and management
Contributing to overall business growth and direction
What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up
Background in a quality fresh food environment
Confident in menu development and seasonal cooking
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Solid understanding of kitchen finances, margins, and labour control
A chef who wants to be part of a family-run business and help shape its future
