We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded Legal 500 law firm with a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering high-quality legal services within a supportive and forward-thinking culture.
The firm has a long-standing history of advising both domestic and international clients, including investors, corporates, and private individuals. With a strong commitment to client care and excellence, the firm is now looking to expand its Manchester office with the addition of a skilled Real Estate Associate Solicitor.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor (5+ PQE) to take the next step in their career, working with a collaborative and professional team that values autonomy and career progression.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, with the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s wider real estate offering. You will also play a key role in supporting junior colleagues and assisting with business development efforts in the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documentation, and legal reports.
* Advising clients on all aspects of the property transaction lifecycle.
* Liaising with clients, agents, and external stakeholders.
* Assisting with supervision and mentoring of junior team members.
* Contributing to business development activities and client relationship building.
* Ideally bringing a small following of clients or referrers.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ PQE in residential property law.
* Proven experience running a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent technical knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
* Commercially aware with a proactive attitude towards business development.
* Experience supervising junior colleagues is desirable.
* A small book of clients or established referrers is advantageous.
