As a Radiology Assistant, you will:
* Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service, ensuring patient care, respect, and dignity.
* Undertake appointment bookings.
* Work closely with Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and the Administration team.
* Participate in clinical audits and other administrative duties related to your role.
* Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS and patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing.
* Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will have:
* Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
* Experience in a work environment, preferably in a customer- or people-focused setting.
* Basic IT skills.
* A caring nature—seeing each patient as an individual and carrying out your role with understanding and empathy.
* Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
* Ability to work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure a positive patient experience.
* Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
