Progress Rail is looking to recruit An EHS Advisor to provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to ensure employee health and the environment are protected. Conduct and supervise activities that ensure compliance with governmental regulations and corporate policies. To undertake Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across the companys facilities in the South Queensferry facility.
THE ROLE:
As an EHS Advisoryou will be required to:
1. Assist operations management in understanding related EHS requirements and their impact on operations
2. Demonstrate safe operational practices and integrity whilst carrying out the duties of the EHS advisor role
3. Maintain communications with the facilities Leadership Teams
4. Manage EHS systems to maintain accreditation to both ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards. Also to contribute to the development of the EHS management system
5. Conduct internal EHS audits and assist in preparation for external audits and visits
