In the role of Administration Officer, you will ensure the smooth operation of the Canterbury District and the broader Southern Region Corrections Services by providing a responsive administrative support service.In this position you will be tasked with delivering a wide range of administrative services. You will enjoy working collaboratively as one team in a challenging and fast paced environment, be able to multitask, follow and adhere to strict policies and procedures, and have sound judgement in prioritising tasks and activities to meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* Competency in the MS suite of applications
* Administrative and accounts experience
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* A high level of written and communication skills
* A collaborative and team focussed attitude
* Experience with SAP would be an advantage
* A full NZ Drivers Licence
* Eligibility to work in New Zealand
This role is based on the outskirts of Christchurch Men's Prison in Templeton in our Regional Administration Building and does require someone to work onsite.
The salary range is split across 2 levels from $58,367 - $62,084 per annum pro rata. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
