We are looking for a 0.6 Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for the Acute Stroke Unit at West Middlesex NHS Hospital.
The Acute Stroke Unit provides high-level inpatient care for patients who have suffered a stroke, including medical treatment and rehabilitation from a multidisciplinary team.
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be the lead provider of a clinical neuropsychology service to the acute stroke unit. Candidates should have experience in neuropsychological rehabilitation and/or assessment and intervention with patients with neurological conditions.
The role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary community neurorehabilitation team, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech and language therapists. Responsibilities include neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation, supporting families and carers, cognitive rehabilitation, psychological therapy, behavioral interventions, teaching, and service development.
