Hours at the main branch are Monday to Friday 8am – 7pm; branch clinics open 8:30am – 6:30pm, with a share of 1:5 Saturday mornings 8am – 1pm and no out-of-hours requirement at the main site in Black Notley, Braintree.
Develop your skills with us in a three-site practice with a family-friendly atmosphere. Facilities include digital radiography and ultrasound. The team comprises three Veterinary Surgeons (including the head vet), six registered veterinary nurses, two student veterinary nurses, a veterinary care assistant, six reception staff, and a Practice Director who is also a registered veterinary nurse. There are specialists including an exotic certificate holder, diagnostic imaging-focused vets, and an anaesthetic certificate holder nurse.
Responsibilities
* Manage a large caseload of dogs and cats with potential exposure to exotic pets.
* Collaborate with an experienced team and under the guidance of the head vet and other specialists.
* Be part of a rota covering three sites on a schedule that supports flexible working patterns.
* Utilize facilities such as digital radiography and ultrasonography in daily practice.
* Provide high standards of patient care with support from nursing and administrative staff.
