Job Title: SHE Associate
Location: Glascoed, South Wales
Salary: £42,132
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting and reviewing manufacturing processes and associated documentation
* Facilitating internal and external auditors/investigators
* Leading the way with safety discussions
* Supporting SHE issues including wellbeing and occupational health
* Proactively encouraging continuous improvement ideas for the production area
* Being an active member of an incident and emergency response team
* Liaising with other functions at all levels within the business including external organisations and regulators
* Keeping up-to-date with current and changing legislation
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety (or currently working towards qualification)
* Experience in investigating workplace accidents and incidents
* Background in conducting internal audits to maintain compliance and efficiency
* Familiarity with a range of Risk Assessments, including COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER
Desirable:
* Membership with IOSH as an accredited professional
* Certified Internal Auditor Qualification
* Industry experience within highly regulated environments such as COMAH, Chemical, or Gas
