Job Overview
Location: Leeds store (United Kingdom). Full‑time (40 hours per week). The Store Manager leads a team of brand ambassadors to achieve store sales, profitability and operational excellence while embodying Lindt brand values.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the store management team in achieving the retail plan and store performance targets.
* Drive and exceed store sales and profit targets using business tools and personal judgement.
* Track store KPI’s, identify opportunities and risks, and develop action plans.
* Align with the line manager on action plans from store performance reviews.
* Collaborate with the line manager on key trading periods and business opportunities.
* Monitor store expenditure and cost budgets while maintaining optimal staffing.
* Maintain a self‑disciplined culture focused on flawless execution of processes, procedures and initiatives.
* Implement audit and loss‑prevention controls to ensure full compliance, including inventory, cash reconciliation and deliveries.
* Complete Health and Safety tools and maintain a safe working environment.
* Review and improve operational processes and systems for smooth running and issue resolution.
* Escalate issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
* Manage time to meet deadlines and ensure full compliance.
* Lead premium visibility and communication initiatives with customers.
* Empower a team of Lindt brand ambassadors and foster a customer‑centric culture.
* Use the Global Retail Mystery Shop results to recognise strengths, share best practice and identify skill gaps.
* Execute in‑store marketing activities and monthly visual merchandising plans to company standards.
* Stay informed on current market trends and contribute to weekly competitor watch.
* Understand and anticipate consumer needs, going the extra mile to delight customers.
* Promote a positive and rewarding work environment and communicate clear goals.
* Develop store team skills and maintain a culture of continuous learning.
* Support the store team in achieving personal development plans.
* Conduct monthly 1‑to‑1 coaching sessions and provide constructive feedback.
* Recruit passionate and driven individuals who embody Lindt brand values.
* Collaborate with line manager, Area Manager and HR to resolve performance issues.
* Maintain effective communication among stakeholders and all business departments.
Qualifications
* Proven management experience within a retail organisation.
* Track record of managing high‑performing teams, including talent development, succession planning, recruitment and disciplinary processes.
* Strong analytical and IT skills.
* Highly motivated self‑starter with a results‑driven focus.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and influence at all levels.
* Positive can‑do attitude and willingness to try new things.
