The Role: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Expert. You will be responsible for supporting new business opportunities and established partnerships, and manage the communication with clients and their requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Support the identification and targeting of new business opportunities within the solar and BESS (hybrid) renewables market. · Assist in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and corporate clients. · Perform ongoing research into procedures, certifications, and stages of EPC services specific to the UK market. · Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials. · Support contract and partnership development through analysis, coordination, and administrative assistance. · Monitor and report on industry regulations, government incentives, and new technologies in solar and energy storage. · Provide support throughout the business development lifecycle, from initial client interaction to deal support and documentation. · Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to gather market intelligence and support brand presence. Requirements: · Proven track record in business development, sales or project management within the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar and battery storage. · Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. · Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and business growth plans. · Knowledge of solar PV technologies, hybrid energy solutions, project development, and financing models. · Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
