About the Role:
Grade A Recruitment is thrilled to announce multiple openings for SEN Teachers to join a fantastic SEMH school in the Bury St Edmonds area. These are full-time, long-term positions with the potential for permanent placement, offering a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth. We are looking for patient, experienced and passionate individuals to join us and take on this very exciting and rewarding role!
What we expect from you:
5. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
6. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.
7. Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies to support student progress.
8. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to provide holistic support to students with SEN.
9. Maintain accurate records of student progress and effectively communicate with parents and guardians.
Reqirments:
10. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) preferred.
11. Experience working with students with SEMH challenges, including those with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
12. Strong behavior management skills and a patient, compassionate approach to teaching.
13. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students and promote inclusive learning.
14. Experience working in UK schools and familiarity with SEN curriculum and regulations.
