JOB SUMMARY
B-Stock is searching for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) responsible for identifying and advancing new opportunities from inbound and outbound lead generation to Sales Qualified Lead (SQL). The ideal candidate has at least three years of business development experience in B2B technology, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing sectors. The role involves conveying our value proposition to engage and guide decision makers and influencers to B-Stock solutions. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Research target ICP accounts, identify key contacts, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
* Qualify inbound marketing leads and prospect outbound accounts, scheduling sales-ready meetings for the Account Executive team. This includes leads from advertising, website, trade shows, webinars, and outreach to senior-level executives.
* Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals to maintain a steady pipeline of opportunities.
* Engage with prospects via email, phone, video, and social media tools.
* Balance inbound and outbound lead follow-up, adapting conversations to the prospect's company, title, or decision-making authority.
* Adapt selling styles based on lead sources and understand inbound and outbound campaign goals.
* Identify suitable B-Stock solution tiers for prospects, qualify, and facilitate lead transition to Sales Executives, providing necessary details.
* Deliver concise sales presentations tailored to each prospect's needs.
* Overcome objections effectively.
* Communicate understanding of B-Stock’s business model, solutions, and value proposition confidently.
* Follow a defined sales process, track activities, and maintain notes using Outreach and Salesforce, ensuring accurate pipeline reporting and efficient lead management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales.
* Proficiency with automated selling tools for prospect targeting, outreach, follow-up, and recording sales activities.
* Proven track record of sales success, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
* Understanding of demand generation is a plus.
* Strong work ethic and sales instinct.
* Coachable, receptive to constructive criticism.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology with instruction.
* Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Zoom, or similar tools.
* Excellent organizational skills for managing leads, contacts, and schedules.
* Problem-solving, creative thinking, and teamwork skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
