We are working with a top-tier international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Disputes & Investigations team within their Belfast office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an elite Litigation practice, working on a range of complex, high-value commercial disputes and investigations. The candidate will work on issues across a range of issues, including antitrust litigation, derivatives & structured finance disputes, insolvency & restructuring litigation, M&A disputes. Responsibilities include drafting advice, preparing clients for court proceedings, drafting and amending documentation and court pleadings, and drafting evidence and witness statements.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 3+ PQE;
* Strong background in commercial disputes within a medium to large commercial firm;
* Excellent commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
