Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Salaried GP to join our practice on a part‑time basis (6 sessions per week). The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive, positive team. We are a training practice that regularly hosts trainee placements.
Main Duties
* Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care, including history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing evaluation.
* Work both independently and collaboratively within the multi‑disciplinary team.
* Participate in the duty doctor triage rota (pro‑rata) alongside another GP based at our second practice site.
* Demonstrate safe clinical decision‑making, strong diagnostic skills, and critical thinking in patient management.

About Us
We are a well‑established GP practice serving the Camberwell community. Our team comprises two partner GPs, two salaried GPs, a practice nurse and advanced health care assistant, and a social prescriber. We also benefit from PCN, first contact physios and a care coordinator on site. We are a training practice and actively engage in the local neighbourhood.

Job Responsibilities
* Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork, reports and correspondence in a timely fashion.
* Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems, whether self‑referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
* Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Develop care plans for health consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
* Provide health education.
* Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
* Compile and issue computer‑generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
Person Specification
Essential
* Full GMC registration
* MRCGP qualification
* Inclusion on the Performers List (confirmation sufficient for DBS clearance)
* Evidence of current revalidation
* Evidence of most recent appraisal
* Eligibility to practise independently in the UK, including right to work
Desirable
* Previous work in general practice
* Familiarity with EMIS Web and Docman systems
* Newly qualified GPs are encouraged to apply
* Experience conducting home visits
* Previous triage or duty doctor experience
