Salary: From A GBP 29,455 (unqualified) to A GBP 33,487 (qualified) per annum plus benefits. Pro‑rate A GBP 14,728 to A GBP 16,743.50 per annum.

About the Role
Within RNN Group, Maths and English skills are in high demand and in this role you can influence and contribute towards the College’s provision in this key area.
You will have the opportunity not only to impart your knowledge and expertise to our learners, but ultimately to make an impact on the wider community.
In this role you will be delivering GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths to full‑time students and adults. You will work in our well‑equipped onsite classrooms and online through our virtual learning environment, using Google Classroom.
The role of lecturer is to equip our students with skills for their future through the delivery of outstanding education and training and inspire students to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths to full‑time students and adults.
* Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Hold at least an A Level (or equivalent) qualification in Maths or above, and either have, or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification.
* Preferably a degree qualification in a chosen subject.
* Ability to bring the subject to life, using combined methods of practical, theoretical, and digital.
Department Information
Your line manager will be the Deputy Manager for English and Maths. You will regularly report on your objectives to update your Maths and English Lead regarding a range of KPIs including student recruitment, retention, anticipated achievement, attendance and punctuality.
You will be part of a Curriculum and Department team and will work with other teaching staff to develop and share good practice in the area. You may also be required to participate in cross‑college teams or working groups on key projects.
