About the Role
We’re working with a well-established and growing distributor within the construction materials sector, looking to add an Internal Sales & Account Executive to their team in Livingston.
This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role where you’ll manage existing customer relationships while also proactively generating new business. You’ll be dealing with trade customers daily, building strong relationships, and driving sales across a busy branch environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of account management and proactive outbound sales activity.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing and developing existing customer accounts
* Handling inbound customer enquiries and processing orders
* Proactively contacting new and lapsed customers to generate business
* Following up on quotes and leads to maximise sales opportunities
* Building strong relationships with trade and B2B customers
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
* Keeping systems and sales records up to date
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a sales-focused role (essential)
* Comfortable with both inbound and outbound sales activity
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience working with trade or B2B customers (highly desirable)
* Background in construction, merchanting, or similar industries (advantageous)
* Positive, proactive attitude and team-player mindset
