Job Description
3. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
4. Process invoices (circa 250), payments, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
5. Maintain and update financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
6. Support the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
7. Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
9. Undertake ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
10. A background in accounting or finance, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
12. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data handling.
13. Good organisational and time management skills.
14. An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
