Overview
We are looking for Pastry Technicians to join our Pastry team. Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour. Enhanced rate is for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 and for hours over 37.5 per week.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30, with 2 x 30 minutes unpaid breaks. Start and finish times may occasionally change to meet the needs of the business, so flexibility is appreciated.
Responsibilities
* Mass produce two different types of pastry (French Puff and Rough Scotch).
* Turn pastry into pastry bases and various pastry cases for other departments.
* Maintain attention to detail to meet the standards of a diverse customer base.
* Follow precise recipes to ensure consistent quality.
* Use and move large bakery equipment to support production.
* Work in a fast-paced, physically active environment and remain on your feet for the majority of the shift.
