Employment Dates and Salary
Salary: Grade A, SCP 3 £24,796 p.a. Part Time, Pro‑Rata, TTO 38 weeks per year. Actual Approx. Salary £3,713 – £4,876 p.a.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 11:57 a.m. – 1:32 p.m. (7.92 hours per week)
Start Date: To start ASAP
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground and other school areas.
* Help pupils develop personal and social skills while maintaining a safe, positive and well‑organised lunchtime environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List (subject to an enhanced DBS check). Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
* Required to complete self‑declaration of criminal record and provide suitable references.
* Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and online search for shortlisted candidates.
* Part of Immigration Act (2016) – must speak fluent English.
Professional Requirements
* Two suitable references required.
* Probationary period of 26 weeks.
