Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical as their Director, Health Economics & Value Demonstration. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing health economics strategies that strengthen value demonstration, support pricing and reimbursement, and ultimately optimise patient access worldwide.
Your remit will cover the development of global cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, early economic evaluations, and the adaptation of models for affiliate submissions. This is not just about technical modelling — it’s about ensuring evidence resonates with payers and healthcare systems, turning innovation into meaningful access for patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, including early economic models, to support global and local market access strategies.
* Embed payer perspectives by identifying and consolidating HTA value needs into integrated evidence generation plans.
* Strengthen HTA submissions by leading the creation of core models in partnership with affiliates and ensuring localisation is delivered effectively.
* Advance methodologies by engaging with health economics experts and thought leaders, optimising model structures and data inputs.
* Support brand value by identifying, prioritising, and implementing health economics evidence generation tactics in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Experience & Qualifications
* Significant experience in health economics within pharma/biotech or consultancy, with a strong track record in building cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.
* Sound understanding of HTA requirements, payer decision-making, and the dynamics of international pricing and reimbursement.
* Proven ability to analyse and interpret clinical trial data and apply findings within economic models.
* Skilled at engaging stakeholders and communicating technical health economics concepts in clear, business-relevant terms.
* Postgraduate qualification in Health Economics (or equivalent) preferred.

* Permanent, full-time role based in the United Kingdom.
* Hybrid working model: flexibility to work from home, with occasional in-office collaboration (minimum once per quarter).
* Candidates must be located within commutable distance of the UK office.
