Role Overview
Crisis Clinician working within the Universal Crisis Team in North Cumbria. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated team within the North Cumbria Crisis Team based at Carelton Clinic in Carlisle and Lillyhall in Workington.
The post holder will be part of a 24/7 crisis service aimed at providing an alternative to hospital admission. You will work under the crisis model and pathway, offering timely assessment and intervention to individuals with a range of mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Triaging referrals, completing holistic assessments and managing risk.
* Providing therapeutic interventions within patients’ home environments.
* Coordinating shift schedules and managing competing demands for service coverage.
* Maintaining accurate case notes and contributing to multidisciplinary team working.
Key Requirements
* Experience working with individuals with mental health needs and a track record of managing risk and complexity.
* Strong clinical skills in triage, assessment, formulation, risk management and therapeutic practice.
* Commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, home‑based care.
