Salary: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting caring and reliable SEN Supply Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of SEN and specialist settings in Milton Keynes. This flexible supply role is ideal for individuals seeking day-to-day work, short-term placements or long-term opportunities, while making a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs.
You will be supporting children and young people with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, SLD and complex needs, working across primary, secondary and specialist provisions depending on your experience and preferences.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
* Support the class teacher to deliver engaging and accessible learning
* Assist pupils with their academic, emotional and social development
* Implement individual support plans and behaviour strategies
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
* Support with personal care where required, depending on the setting
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN, either formal or informal
* A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work across a variety of SEN and specialist settings
* A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
