Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – Specialist SEN Secondary School Location: Farnborough Hours: Full-time Pay: £13.75 per hour We are pleased to be recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a supportive and well-established specialist SEN secondary school in Farnborough. This setting supports young people of secondary school age with a range of special educational needs, providing a structured and nurturing environment that promotes independence, confidence and personal development. This role is well suited to individuals who are passionate about supporting adolescents and helping them develop the skills they need for learning, communication and life beyond school. The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting secondary-aged pupils to engage with learning and manage the social, emotional and academic challenges of adolescence. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you will provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils within a specialist SEN secondary setting Assisting with personalised and differentiated learning activities Supporting communication, sensory needs and emotional regulation Encouraging independence, resilience and positive behaviour Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff Helping to maintain a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment About You We welcome applicants from all walks of life.
