Housing Allocations Officer
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Housing Service for a dedicated individual to ensure that those requiring housing are allocated properties appropriately.
The Housing Allocations Officer will work with residents, partner housing providers, and vulnerable people to match individuals to vacant affordable homes.
The successful applicant should have experience working with a Registered Housing Provider and/or a Council Housing Section.
Applicants will have:
* Experience working with vulnerable people, gathering information, managing processes, and developing new ways of working.
* A proven track record of providing and delivering effective solutions within a housing environment and of delivering quality services in a fast-paced environment.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
