Adecco are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to work for our client in Little Hulton, on a temporary basis, with a view to securing a permanent position. Duties: Lead complaints handling, technical investigations, and ensure product compliance. Monitor production and perform tests to detect early-stage issues. Inspect materials and systems to identify defects and improve durability. Investigate root causes and recommend fixes for quality issues. Document failures, corrective actions, and review technical documentation. Set and track quality goals; support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Support design of jigs, fixtures, and tooling. Conduct RCA and implement CAPA. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and support supplier quality audits.Skills & Qualifications: Engineering qualification (C&G, HNC, HND, BEng) in electronics or mechanics. 5+ years in manufacturing, assembly, or electronics quality. Strong fault-finding skills across electrical/mechanical systems. Proficient in RCA, problem-solving, and statistical quality methods. Familiar with ISO 9001 and reliability testing. Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork. Detail-oriented, proactive, and conflict-resolution capable.
