Bank Administrator | Private hospital | 0 hours flexible working contract | Chatham, Kent

Spire Alexandra Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join our staffing back on a bank/occasional basis.

As Bank Administrator you will assist with cover across different departments as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Welcoming, registering and booking appointments for all patients in a warm, professional and caring manner
2. Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all in and out-patients using a computerised system (SAP and RIS) for GPs, consultants and other users
3. Collate all necessary paperwork to enable radiographer/radiologist to undertake/report the examination
4. Responsibility for the efficient management of imaging bookings, liaising with department staff as appropriate
5. To present a professional, smart image at all times, ensuring adherence to the uniform policy
6. Manage the department phone calls in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. are responded to in a timely manner

Who we're looking for:

7. Experience of face to face customer/patient interaction
8. Has excellent Administration skills using different databases and systems (training will be given)
9. Exceptional phone manner
10. Having previous medical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
11. Enthusiastic and energetic professional

Hours: Variations of days & shift times

Contract: Bank 0 hours contract flexible staffing bank
