JOB TITLE:Service Designer – 12 Month FTC

SALARY:£61,344 - £68,160

LOCATION:Bristol

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you’ll be doing

If you thrive in complex design environments, then the Enterprise Experience Design (eXD) Team at Lloyds Banking Group is where you belong.

As aServiceDesigner,you'llbe at the forefront of innovation, primarily supporting our Data Management area.You'llnavigate the intricate world of Data, collaborating closely with engineers, product owners, and consumers to deeply understand user needs and behaviours.

You will employ rapid user testing techniques, crafting and refining end-to-end consumer-centric journeys and North Star experience visions for a variety of products and services.

As a Service Designer,it’llbe your role to:

1. Work effectively and confidently as part of agile teams to help uncover priorities, visualise outcomes, and define scope.

2. Shape strategic initiatives ensuring we are led by colleague, customer and market insight when creating or enhancing our propositions and services.

3. Runningworkshops and discussions with stakeholders, making sure the business context, needs and risks are properly understood, and that key decisions are well informed.

4. Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to manage expectations and incorporate multiple perspectives when defining solutions.

5. Support the research and document current and future state services.

6. Makegood designdecisions, bring the user perspective to theforefrontand challenge the validity of constraints.

7. Take ownership for your own development.

8. Collaborate closely with other designers, product owners, and engineers.

9. Be an active member of the design community to share knowledge, create ideas, and embed principles of design across a range of product, service, and customer journeys.

13. Additionallyyou’llhavestrong communicationskills; effective in communicating ideas, issues, and implications to senior,technicaland non - technical audiences and will have experience in research and design thinking methods
