Job Description
* Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, whilst completing Tax returns.
* Lead on small/medium-sized assignments and assist on large assignments.
* Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff.
* Be an important point of contact for clients and for more junior team members.
* Ensure all financial operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
* Manage a portfolio of clients/jobs, overseeing yourself and others, while actively participating in business development for the Weymouth office.
* Monitor departmental performance and propose improvements.
* Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have:
* A strong academic background in Accounting, with ACA or ACCA qualification.
* At least 2-3 years of post-qualified practice experience.
* Exceptional leadership abilities and people management skills.
* A proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting and finance services.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
