Role: Following an initial training period in the workshop, the successful Construction Plant Fitter will transition to a field-based role, covering Belfast and Northern Ireland. Key responsibilities include: Conducting preventive and reactive maintenance on heavy machinery, including earthmoving equipment, mining trucks, material handlers, and specialist handling machines. Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic control systems. Ensuring all repairs meet high-quality standards and liaising with clients across various industries. Completing all required documentation to the highest standard. Person Specification: We are looking for candidates with experience in heavy and light plant fitting, who possess: A relevant qualification such as Construction Plant Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or Mechanic. Hands-on experience with heavy machinery such as earthmoving and material handling equipment. Exposure to equipment within industries such as construction, civil engineering, material handling, and mining.
