JOB ROLE
Working at LK Bennett is more than just a job; it’s a way of life and being our Assistant Management Accountant means you will be at the forefront of our luxury business. You would be responsible for management accounting, and KPI, trade and statutory reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
COMMERCIAL
* Assist Senior Commercial Finance Analyst with full budget and forecast process
* Produce Monday weekly reporting, and assist team with daily reporting
* Assist in development and production of trade and KPI reporting
* Assist in development and production of quarterly board reporting
* Ad hoc commercial work as and when required
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTS
* Assist team with month end and responsible for group accruals and prepayments
* Prepare and post concession journals and reconcile debtor accounts
* Update, maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset register and Intellectual Property
* Post Depreciation and amortisation
* Post monthly wholesale journal
* Run and review management accounts v budget and last year
* Work with Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to finalise management accounts
* Assist teams with BS Recs and reconcile own BS Recs as appropriate
* Assist AP Assistant with concessions reconciliations and sales adjustments
* Produce month end reporting for Directors
* National statistics survey
EUROPEAN ACCOUNTING
* Prepare and send reporting data to local accountants for month end
* Review and post European month end reporting packs
* Work with European advisors on VAT and year end accounting
* Support Financial Controller on compliance and local reporting issues
* European payments
VAT
* Prepare VAT information requirements to the EU subsidiaries
AUDIT
* Support Financial Controller with annual financial audit
* Support Financial Controller with quarterly banking audits as required
WHO YOU ARE
* Knowledge of Retail Business an advantage.
* Excellent Excel skills and ability.
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deal with people at all levels of the business.
* Strong analytical skills, with a feel for numbers and an eye for detail.
* Desire to solve problems with the tenacity to push for a resolution.
