We’re working with a leading Investment company who is looking to hire a Data Engineer to join their fast-growing team. As a Data Engineer, you’ll help build and scale cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure that power ESG analytics and tools used by leading financial institutions. You’ll work closely with analysts to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, while contributing to the development of APIs, automation workflows, and internal data platforms.
The Role:
Ideal for someone with strong Python and SQL skills, cloud experience (AWS preferred), and a passion for clean, scalable data systems that drive real-world impact.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Building scalable, cloud-based data solutions supporting ESG analytics and products.
2. Creating API’s and tools that make our data more accessible
3. Automating ESG KPIs, ratings, and forecast workflows.
4. Design and automate data pipelines for ESG KPIs, ratings, and forecasts.
5. Partner with ESG analysts and investment teams to turn complex data into clear insights.
What they are looking for:
6. Experience building data pipelines from multiple sources.
7. Hybrid working environment (at least 2 days required on site per week)
8. Cloud experience. This includes (AWS, GCP, or Azure — AWS preferred).
9. Strong Python (Pandas) and SQL skills (Postgres preferred).
