This full-time role suits a teacher who can bring the past to life and develop students' skills in enquiry and argument. About the Role You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, covering a varied curriculum that develops chronological understanding, source analysis, and persuasive writing. There is potential to contribute to KS5 provision depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Teach History across KS3 and KS4 Prepare students for GCSE History examinations Develop students' source analysis and essay-writing skills Plan engaging lessons that bring historical periods to life Assess work and provide regular, constructive feedback Contribute to Humanities department planning and enrichment activities The School Environment The school has a strong sense of community and a Humanities faculty that works closely together to share ideas and resources.
