We are looking to employ a Kitchen/Catering Assistant member on a full-time basis (30 hours minimum p/week - with the chance of 35-45 hours during busy periods)
Ideally, you will have experience within a similar environment and are well experienced in cooking, cleaning and serving on a till system of some kind.
You must be flexible and able to work Midweek Days, Weekends, bank holidays, school holidays and late evenings (up to 11pm) so please only apply if you are able to do so. Full flexibility is needed for this position.
Responsibilities and duties include:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard.
* Cleaning and tidying the working areas throughout the shift, keeping areas well maintained following the 'clean as you go' method.
* You will be expected to work with a professional manner.
* Provide excellent customer service.
* Working on the tills and taking payments correctly
* Communicating effectively with all staff on all departments to ensure a smooth working day.
* Working as a team as well as on your own at times.
* Checking deliveries in and putting products away correctly.
* Stock rotation.
* Filling out hourly, daily and weekly paperwork.
* Open up the diner.
* Close down the diner to a high standard, ensuring it is ready for use the next morning
