The Tile Mountain Group is one of the fastest growing online retailers in the UK. Brands include Tile Mountain, Bathroom Mountain and Walls & Floors.
To support the Finance department we are looking to recruit a new member of the team who will have a dual role in both the purchase and sales ledger departments. They will work closely with both the Purchase and Sales ledger managers. The aim is to develop their skills sufficiently to enable them to be proficient at both roles in both departments.

The ideal candidate will have:
* A strong desire to start a career in finance
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong numerical abilities (academic success preferable, but not necessary)
* Be organised and have a strong attention to detail
* Be comfortable with IT systems and software such as excel
* Experience of working in a finance team preferable, but not necessary
Following training, candidates will be involved with:
* Chasing payments to ensure customer accounts are paid in full and on time
* Reviewing sales ledger accounts to ensure they are accurate and correct
* Undertaking bank and sales ledger reconciliations
* Providing a high level of customer service
* Matching stock purchase orders to invoices and dealing with discrepancies
* Managing their own list of UK and international supplier accounts
* Ensuring invoices are approved, processed and paid in a timely manner
* Producing payment runs twice monthly to ensure invoices are paid on time
* Completing supplier statement reconciliations and identifying actions required
* Undertaking wider accounting duties and assisting with ad hoc tasks as required
Experience and strong academic qualifications are required, but are preferable.
Hours & Salary Details
Office based, 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: Dependent on the candidate. Potential for study support to gain a formal accounting qualification.
