We are pleased to be working with a fantastic organisation in the construction industry who are currently hiring for a Payroll Manager on a permanent, full time basis.
Reporting into the Head of Payroll, this role will play a key part in the management of high-volume UK payrolls and leadership of the medium sized Payroll & HR Team.
Responsibilities include:
Own and manage end to end UK payroll
Ensure full compliance with HMRC, including PAYE, RTI submissions and year end reporting (P60, P11D, PSA)
Oversee the administration of UK Pensions, Benefit in Kind and salary sacrifice
Act as an escalation point for complex payroll queries
Lead, manage and develop the payroll team
Provide payroll-related data and analysis for budgeting and forecasting
Experience required:
Exemplary UK payroll knowledge
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Experience of working with payroll systems (ADP or iTrent preferable)
The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
This role will be office based for initial probation period, with hybrid working of 3 days per week in the office thereafter. Other benefits include a generous pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and private healthcare.
