We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of trades across multiple projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Duties
* Carry out carpentry work including framing, finishing, and repairs
* Perform roofing tasks such as installation, maintenance, and repairs
* Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with specifications
* Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
* Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
* Assist with electrical installations and maintenance where qualified
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks
* Fabricate components as required for various projects
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations
* Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Experience
* Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
* Demonstrable ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Experience in fabrication processes is desirable
* Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to construction sites
* Prior experience working on diverse construction projects is preferred
