We are seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and well-established specialist setting in Yeovil. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, supporting pupils aged 4–16 with a range of additional needs. This highly regarded provision is known for its nurturing ethos and commitment to inclusive education. The school supports children with Autism (ASD), communication difficulties, complex learning needs, and physical disabilities. Staff work collaboratively to create a structured and supportive environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour The Role Deliver planned learning activities and occasionally lead whole-class sessions Support pupils with a range of complex needs, both in and out of the classroom Work closely with teachers to adapt and implement personalised learning plans Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement Support the overall learning environment and contribute to pupil progress Requirements Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA Confident in supporting or leading learning activities Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Why Join Teaching Personnel?
